LIFE: Inching Along
As days go on I find myself eager to see just what 2011 has in store. So far i have no complaints, things are working out pretty good. School, my car, finances, family, my amazing girlfriend, life is good. Everything is "okay" and "okay" is alright with me.

Recently i managed to pick up a bucket seat for pretty cheap. It's a Sparco Sprint Jr., it feels amazing. Sadly, I didn't get to enjoy it for very long as my diff blew to pieces.

For a couple days I had been hearing subtle whining noises, I assumed them to be an ailed throw out bearing crying for help. Little did I know it was actually my differential that was crying. Driving around town, the noise was geting louder, and the whining was being accompanied by grinding metal sounds.Then- BOOOOMMMMMMMMM, my wheels locked, car skidded to a stop, and the diff bled to death all over the pavement. About four days later I managed to pick up a viscous unit, install it, and satisfying lay down two streaks of rubber!!!!!!!!!!!

Now that things are back on track I can focus on the important things in life.....Crushed Velvet!!!!

MEEESTA SPARKOH!!!!
So I am going to be changing my timing belt soon and it soon struck me that it would be the perfect time to get creative with my valve cover..So after days of contemplating styles and colors, I decided to go with a deep red layed over a metallic base coat.As the ball started rolling, one thing lead to another and the situation soon snowballed into a glittery ruby sparkly delicious mess..
Started by sanding down a spare valve cover I got a the junk yard, started like this:

Then this (full polish woulda been nice) :

Taped it up and sprayed the glitter base coat:

Then I layed some red over it, a couple coats gave it a deeper "ruby" tone to it

and finally shot it with "glittery" clear, end result:
