I am a genius and should be awarded my own apartment!

So, it's about that time for me to start moving out (or at least plan to), hearing my Dad complain about garage space and chores is getting older by the minute. So I've devised a brilliant idea, perhaps my best yet. I know it may sound crazy but it just might work. How bout this? I finish up my transfer credits, get a good paying job, and FINALLY move out and live on my own while I finish up my B.A. Problem solved, well sort of, easier said than done for sure. There is one sure thing though, once I do move out, my place is going to be nothing short of awesome.

In my search for "the ultimate man sanctuary", I came across what is perhaps the sweetest apartments I've seen. "The Castle Rock" apartments in Riverside. Now keep in mind, I have no knowledge of real estate, houses, or anything having to do with being a grown up for that matter, but these apartments are exactly what I'm looking for (aesthetically at least). This place looks like a resort!

check this piece!!!!: http://www.vacancy.com/california/riverside-apartments/castlerock/photos/

I can imagine it already, coming home to a quiet house, catching up on on my to-do list (which may look like this: frequent naps: CHECK, eating an assortment of foods that are never good for your heath: CHECK, laundry: IOU, being awesome:CHECK), and finally getting the car ready for an upcoming track night....HAHAHA bet you thought I forgot! [creepy french voice] "on the contrary muahahaha"

Along with these apartments looking amazing they JUST SO HAPPEN to be down the street from Adams Race Track!

random somebody: "oh hey, where's Jesse at?"

Answer: " pssssshhh, you already know"

[ that's right! instant "regular" at the track! ]

random somebody: "why"

Answer: "because race car"

I love it already, I cannot wait, I will not wait! See you guys you guys soon! and when you come to the house warming party remember, gifts are mandatory. And for the ladies, clothing OPTIONAL!

i don't want to break stuff

i haven't posted up in forever, mostly because not much has changed (with my car at least). Just been driving it daily and getting my "grown up Jesse" mode on. All in all it seems like it's paying off. I had made a promise to myself not to "play" around in my car while I finish up 2011. However, being as though the car is set up to have fun, makes it hard. Needless to say I've been taking her sliding on a daily basis for the past month or so. Fortunately I haven't hit anything. Sadly though, I came to the realization that My car needs a little work now. Tie rods, random boots, regular wear and tear pieces are gonna need to be replaced, but it's okay because I planned to get to all that anyways.
Come 2012 my car might be seeing a couple changes along with maintenance. Welded diff and maybe some angle mods. I've also been dying to get some headers so I'll probably get on some of those too.
I still suffer from a sickness I decided to name "want to own other cars syndrome." The case is mild but sometimes it's hard to fight. Lucky for me the Miata is awesome and makes it difficult to get rid of. Like I said, I drive it daily and it's proven to be one of my favorite cars thus far. I always have a great time driving it and it RARELY gives me any problems (knock on wood). The ride is comfortable enough for me not to complain and the power band is fun and "zippy", leaves Jesse a happy man at the end of the day.

slow

^^ pretty much sums up how things have been going, since my last entry (who knows how long ago that was), I haven't really been up to much. Slowly trying to finish up my "semi-wire tuck"...manage to get the hot side done finally. Sadly, I blew out the MAF in doing so, after having got that replaced my miata friend Andy hooked it up with an intake cone...So now I'm in the mist of making my own intake and relocating in to the cold side. I figured not only would it be more power efficient, but open up a lot of space on the hot side (showing off my tuck a bit)....I had originally planned to ge some sliding in this summer, but it might have to wait (funds :( )....all in all I'm taking things nice and slow

speaking of slow, check this little dude out!

tuckin' rim? nah son, tuckin' wires..

started tucking wires on the cold side yesterday, everything worked out pretty good, I managed to blow only one fuse in the process..lol..I'm going to delete the Charcoal Canister too, hopefully it looks good after...I'm so exited to finally have a semi-tucked bay, I've been wanting to have it done for years!

pics for reference:

(not my car, but it's an accurate depiction of the cluttered stock bay)
